You are going to rent certain items for your wedding depending on if you are having an indoor or an outdoor wedding. And it is the next step in planning your amazing and special day! For your reception, you are going to need tables for your guest tables, gift tables, food tables, guest book tables, etc. Guest tables and chairs come in all shapes, styles, and designs. You are going to also need chairs for your guests to sit on during your wedding ceremony. Then for your reception, you can move the chairs from the ceremony area to the reception tent. For a backyard or tented wedding, you will need a dance floor inside of the tent.  Depending on how many guests are attending, you'll be able to determine the size of your dance floor. Professionals will tell you that you will need around four-and-a-half square feet per guest. For your outside wedding, you will need all sorts of points of electricity. You’ll need lighting for inside the tent when it gets dark outside. The DJ or band will need electricity to plug in all their equipment and play their music. Depending on the time of year, you’ll need heating and cooling systems. Which will need to be plugged into an electrical outlet. Something else you are going to want to think about if you want to have lounge furniture. You can arrange a family room layout with vintage couches, armchairs, coffee tables, maybe a rug, and more. This is something you can determine depending on if you want to incorporate lounge furniture into your rentals.

You may need chargers and serving plates, forks, knives, spoons, red and white wine glasses, water glasses, champagne flutes, highball glasses, rock glasses, and coffee mugs, cocktail-party appetizer plates, china patterns, chargers, dessert plates, footed bowls for desserts. Also don’t forget you are going to need serving utensils, bowls, and platters if you are having a family-style dinner or a buffet. You may also want to think about rental pieces to put your floral arrangements in. However, many florists provide rental items to support their arrangements. If you want to, you can rent a photo booth or other eclectic décor as part of your wedding day! Like anything else, it is totally up to you want you to want to rent for your wedding day!! When you are coming you with a list of items you potentially may need or want to rent for your wedding day, talk to your planner and your vendors (particularly your caterer) about other types of items you might need to add to your wedding rental checklist.
