Ever wondered how Leslie James Events came to be? It all began with a quest to craft a brand exuding joy, love, and celebration. The journey was not an easy one, with many nights spent delving into the origins of admired brands and pondering over countless suggestions.

The breakthrough came unexpectedly, in the wee hours of a fateful night, with the realization that the perfect name had been right there all along - Leslie James Events! These names, belonging to my dear parents, were synonymous in my heart with love, joy, and the spirit of celebration.

Both Leslie and James were true architects of enchantment, bringing magic to every holiday, birthday, and gathering in our lives. From 'two seatings' on Thanksgiving to a dance floor lit with lumières at my teenage party, or the cherished simple tradition of English muffin pizzas on birthdays – they instilled in me the belief that every moment was worth celebrating and imprinting in our hearts.

Leslie, my beloved mother, may not be with us today, but her spirit lives on in every event we plan. My father, James, continues to be the life of every gathering, infusing joy into the simplest moments. Their legacy forms the heart of Leslie James Events, embodying the spirit of celebration and memory-making in every event we plan.

And though I am often mistaken for Leslie, I wouldn’t have it any other way! It serves as a daily reminder of my purpose – to help our clients craft moments with their loved ones that will endure a lifetime. Because at Leslie James Events, we believe every event should be meticulously planned, joyfully celebrated, and magically memorable. This is more than just our brand – it’s our way of honoring the legacy of love and celebration that Leslie and James left us with.

Owner and Lead Planner

Hey There! I'm Kelly Boyle, the owner and lead planner at LeslieJames Events. Let me tell you a bit more about myself and my journey to becoming an event planner. 

I came to event planning from an unconventional background in corporate finance, which has given me some valuable skills, such as budgeting, project management, and active listening. I also have a few superpowers that help me with this job, such as warmth, empathy, relatability and a killer sense of humor. 

You'll often hear me saying two things during the planning process: "I've got this" and "It always works out as it's meant to". I love to craft unexpected moments that sprinkle a bit of magic and nostalgia into each event and make them authentically yours. I get emotional when I see a client's vision realized!

And finally, the best part of my job – building lasting relationships with clients.
