Now that’s what I call a well-crafted unique drink.
Planning a wedding not only requires choosing the entrée and wedding cake, but how about those signature drinks, or bar menu too? When creating your signature cocktail, go simple and do not over complicate it, because too many elements can be overwhelming. Create a drink that matches your personality. If you are bold and adventurous, create a drink that represents this. Or if your personalities are classic with a dry sense of humor, make a dirty martini. You can even add seasonal flair to the drink you create. If you and your partner have different taste buds you can always create two separate drinks.

Take charge and create a simple drink like the one mentioned above, and add a garnish or special touch to it - flower petal, orchid, etc. In the signature drink that was created on the Cape, we added stick ice cubes with a sprig of lavender into the glass cups to elevate the drink. Additionally, be aware that even though your guests will enjoy the cocktail, they may like other drinks as well, so don’t just limit them to choosing one drink. Having multiple drinks gives people the opportunity to choose a drink specifically to their liking.
There is a huge craft cocktail movement at weddings, so to come up with a signature cocktail idea, you can think about your favorite local drinks, or drinks that you have had at one of your favorite places. Choose that specific cocktail and make it your own. Shape your cocktail around the color scheme, a play on words when describing the drink, and choose your favorite spirit. If the recipe calls for orange juice, substitute it with another citrus juice. Experiment with different concoctions until you are satisfied with how the drink tastes. Choose a unique glass to put it in, or get personalized imprinted glasses or napkins to complete the presentation of your drink.
